Aixam Mobile Catering Coffee Van Barista Machine Business Street Food Festival.
I never thought I would ever sell my unique little coffee van which I’ve lovingly owned from new in 2009, and as I’ve been located in the same area trading for years, the mileage is still under 1000km.
The Mega is currently SORN due to the fact it was rarely driven on the main road as realistically best suited around smaller town roads and not motorways as top speed is 40km and best taken to an event location on a low loader. I have just had ‘her’ serviced and overhauled to ensure roadworthy if required. I can get it MOTd if wanted as not too many garages know how best to do an MOT on an Aixam
Mega as it has a 600 CC 2 Stroke Diesel Engine converted as a fully operational Mobile Catering Coffee Van. The stainless steel chassis means it doesn’t rust
I had the interior designed to gain more room at the back to fit a numerous choice of commercial appliances ie jacket potato oven and the counter tops (one is lower than the other) allows plenty of space for items or customers ease, see pics.
The fact that this van is low to the ground means you are on a level that makes the customer service more personable yet great because you’re inside whatever weather conditions
The added bonus to my Mega is the Astoria Espresso Machine which was the last of its kind and a solid machine (not tinny like new ones) which I had serviced (£750) earlier this year and hardly been operative since due to Covid etc. It’s a dual fuel Uni lever and is worth more than when I bought it with the van.
It is in a very good condition inside and out and is ready to start trading from.
VERY RELUCTANTLY I have had to scale down as I have premises I deliver from now and it makes sense to “let her go..”
Converted by Towability Mobile Catering the full spec according to their website is listed below:-
Its been converted to run the Barista machine directly from Gas Bottles (stored in a secure compartment) with a built in Water Pump and Storage Area for fresh water containers, and a built in tap and sink which drains down into an area for waste water which can be easily drained at the end of a day and a fridge/cool area to keep food and drink items fresh. It has rechargeable leisure battery to run the lights, water pump etc and the van comes with a UK 3 PIN Plug adapter to charge the battery or to run off the UK mains power as well as off its own 12V battery.
