High Output Pizza Van £20K no VAT Forest of Dean Gloucestershire

Will run with four staff and can comfortably produce 70+ pizzas an hour. It is immaculately clean and has a 5-star EHO rating. The largest event service we did was 326 pizzas in an afternoon!

Van is a Mercedes Sprinter 513 Long Wheel Base which is plated at 5000kg and needs a C1 driving license to drive (it weighs about 4000kg when loaded). The engine is 2.2, 6 speed gearbox, that has done 209,500 miles. It was owned from new by Johnson’s Linen Services and was well maintain under and operator’s license. We bought it three years ago at 204,300 miles. It is speed limited to 56mph and so has never been abused. It was last serviced in January 2024 (all filters and oil) the brake disks, pads and fluid were changed at 206,000 miles, it had a full set of seven tyres in 2021 and they are all at 7mm (spare 8mm) tread. It has an MOT until 30/9/2025 (no advisories) and whilst it has a tacho installed, it is registered as tacho exempt. The body work and interior are in good condition with the exemption of one scrape (photo included). It had a new battery in 2023. It remains a white van that has been wrapped black, the wrap is in pretty good condition with only a few bubbles on the seams. It has two sets of keys

The oven is a beautifully customised woodfired Four Grand Mere 1032C with a 1m metre internal diameter, mounted on rubber suspension. It has a unique steel shell and is a true show stopper. It is fully insulated and has a door and flue shutter so it can be locked down after service and safely driven home. It takes two hours to warm up from cold and burns through roughly a basket of wood per shift (baskets included). There is an LED light to illuminate the oven while cooking.

Power is provided by a 3.2kv hybrid inverter with six 110ah batteries, which gives a useable capacity of 6kwh: more than enough to run an 8-hour shift. It is charged via an external 16amp commando plug (cable included). It is fused from an RCD protected consumer unit with three double gang outputs (one with USB chargers), LED lights, two fridges and a 1.5kw 6l water heater. It also has an external 16amp power output and a built-in trickle charger to charge the van battery when plugged in to the mains. It has ceiling lights, wall lights, hatch lights and an external flood light. It also has Mad Max

The water is provided from a 70l water tank with a hose fitting to fill and ball valve to prevent it over filling. It has two sinks with a mixer tap powered by a shurflo pump with expansion vessel, the waste water runs in to one of two 20l water tanks with level sensors and a beeper that beeps when it is full. 

There is a cupboard for general storage with wide opening doors, all worktops are stainless steel and earth bonded. The prep area back wall is tiled, all edges are protected with aluminium strip and there is space for a bin and nine 100mm dough trays. The shelves under the serving counter hold 47 12” pizzas boxes and 63 x 9” boxes (we used to pile the rest up on the passenger seats). The serving hatch is a wide shutter, all walls are covered in hygiene UPVC or aluminium sheet including the back doors. The floor is high grip catering surface, there are a few burn marks where embers have fallen out of the oven. There is a roller canopy over the serving shutter which has faded a little, but still effective. The canopy wind handle is stored in the side door of the van. There is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, soap dispenser, blue roll holder (with space for a first kit) and a lockable cash draw. There is a full-length order ticket holder and an open/close roof vent.

Included in the sale also two baskets, oven ash scrapper and brush, step for the back door and 12v battery charge with conditioner mode to condition the inverter batteries. The Peppers Perfect Pizza brand is free if you want it, it has well followed Facebook and Instagram pages and the UK URL which will be transferred if desired. The van branding is stickers that can be easily removed.
